This is the second project I have made in Commercial Arts, which is a Dry Point Etching. We made a etching on a small piece of Plexiglas, which we then spread ink on, scraped the access away, and put through a printing press to make a print on some special prepared paper which we soaked to prepare for the ink. We were required to put some watercolor on a print, so I went with a more sunset theme, with tones of red, orange and yellow to give a nice sort of background. My best print, in my opinion, is the first one I made, which is my "artist print". I also included a picture of the original Plexiglas etch, and the pallet we were required to make with some of the watercolor we enjoyed using. The name "a day in com art" is based off the fact that it is, just in fact a picture of my shoes, that I took absentmindedly as I was drawing.
